Allen Samuels Executive Director
Allen is a graduate of Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania (BA-Psychology). Allen has been supporting individuals with Intellectual Disabilities since 1985. Over this time, Allen has worked in many different capacities, from Direct Support Professional, Job Coach, Coordinator, Director, Vice President, Chief Operations Officer and now Executive Director for P.I.L.O.T. Services. As the Executive Director for P.I.L.O.T. Services, an enhanced focus on Changing the Way We Care is being established while building a company culture that supports the purpose behind the P.I.L.O.T. Services organization.
Kathy Ayala Chief Financial Officer
Kathy is a graduate of Penn State University (BA – Political Science with a business minor) and Philadelphia University (BS in Accounting). She also has her MBA from La Salle University and is SHRM certified. Kathy has almost 40 years of Accounting and Human Resources experience with over a decade of non-profit experience. As the CFO Kathy has been responsible for refining accounting and human resource policies, applying for grants, creating projections and ensuring P.I.L.O.T. Services has a strong financial future.
Melanie Rivera Chief Operating Officer
Melanie is a graduate of Rutgers University with a Master’s Degree in Administrative Social Work and Stockton University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology. Melanie comes to P.I.L.O.T. Services with an array of experiences from children to adults. Melanie is our Chief Operations Officer and oversees our residential and day programs. As the C.O.O., Melanie is establishing that the mission of P.I.L.O.T. Services is carried out and becomes the path to changing the way we care.
Judith Wright Director of Residential Services
Judith graduated from Rowan College of SJ. Having been in this field since 2007, Judith brings a wealth of knowledge to her new Director position. Judith began her career working with adolescents, often in a residential setting. She also has experience working with adults with severe behavior issues and has been a DSP in both residential and day programs. Judith’s hard work and dedication has earned her several promotions during her time at P.I.L.O.T. Services. She sets an amazing example for her staff of the type of care we strive to provide our individuals.
Elia Mosko Human Resource Director-HRIS Specialist
Elia is a graduate of Eastern University with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, and University of Puerto Rico with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources. Elia’s experience is in the non-profit sector where she has served in various capacities such as working directly with children and families, training and employee development, quality improvement, recruitment, and general. Human Resource management. Elia will be leading our Human Resources Department into greater use of technology, electronic on-boarding, oversight of our Staff Training Operations and and general Human Resources management.
Pamela Evans Controller
Pam is a graduate of American University (BS in Accounting) and successfully passed the CPA exam.. Pam has 30+ years of Accounting, Auditing and Consulting experience which includes significant non-profit experience. As the Controller of P.I.L.O.T., she is responsible for the oversight of the daily activities of the accounting department including ensuring that internal controls are in place and followed. She brings all her experience, along with her genuine love and enthusiasm of accounting and servicing people, to P.I.L.O.T. and hopes to bring that energy to her team. She believes that important tools for life include: A good heart, a positive attitude, gratitude, a sense of humor (especially at yourself) and, of course, Google and Excel!
